A stakeholder portal that opens on the answer.

Each sponsor and stakeholder gets one private page per project that answers three things in order: are we on track, what needs them, and what’s in the way. It’s built from the project, so nobody maintains it, and it opens from an email link without an account.
A specimen of the sponsor’s page on a phone. The project is fictional.

Why stakeholder portals go unused

Many project portals are a login screen in front of a copy of the task board. The sponsor forgets the password, or signs in and finds forty tasks and no sign of whether launch is still on the 7th.

So they email anyway, and the portal becomes one more thing the team keeps up to date by hand.

How Unblockd handles it

The page is generated from the project and shows the sponsor only what your team chose to share.
  1. Opens from the emailEach link belongs to one person and one project and stops opening after 14 days, with a fresh one in every email. Remove someone from the project and their links stop working straight away.
  2. Answers the first question firstThe page opens on progress against each deliverable, with its due date and a health word, then the asks waiting on them, then what’s in the way. Every project uses the same layout, so a sponsor with several learns it once.
  3. Proof one tap awayEach deliverable carries the documents, demos, and pull requests behind it. A task only counts as done once its proof is attached.
  4. Shows what you shareTasks, blockers, risks, and team notes stay with your team until someone chooses to share them. Proof files open only when their deliverable is shared.
  5. Questions on the pageYour sponsor can ask a question or say the work looks good, right on the page. The answer shows there, and they get an email when it does.

Where it fits

A good fit

  • Sponsors and executives who want to check progress on their own time, from a phone.
  • Agencies and internal teams who want their name on it: Team puts your logo and name on the sponsor’s page.

Use something else for

  • Invoices, time reports, and file storage. Unblockd shows progress, decisions, and proof; keep billing in your accounting tool.

Questions

Do sponsors need a login?
No. They open their page from a private link in their email. Sponsors, approvers, and viewers are free on every plan.
Can we put our brand on it?
Yes. Team puts your logo and name on the sponsor’s page. Business also removes the Unblockd footer from the page and the emails.
Can a sponsor follow several projects?
Yes. A sponsor on more than one project gets a home page listing them, linked from the top of each project page, and every project has the same layout.
Will they see our internal tasks?
No. They see deliverables, the proof behind them, and anything your team shares. Tasks, notes, and unshared blockers stay with your team.
